Prime Minister Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (PM YASASVI) is a financial assistance program for OBC, EBC, and DNT category students. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has launched the Scheme and student from different states can apply in this scheme. At present situation students can apply this scholarship through NSP portal (scholarship.gov.in).
The Registration has already started from 11th July 2023 for 2023-24 session, Students who want to apply for this scholarship can register it through NSP portal. The Scholarship amount between Rs 4,000 to Rs 20,000 will be provided to the beneficiary students according to their course.
PM YASASVI Scholarship 2024
PM YASASVI Scholarship scheme can be applied only for those student who are belongs to OBC ,EBC and DNT student category. Students from pre-matric category they will get up to Rs 4,000 and those who will be in class 11th and 12th will get Rs 5,000. The students those who are studying in group 1 courses and doing professional courses can get financial assistance up to Rs 20,000. Students from economically weaker families will get a huge opportunity to pursue higher studies. Also must remember that student’s family income should be below Rs 2.5 lakh annually. Now students need to visit scholarship.gov.in portal to register and apply.

What are the Eligibility Criteria of PM YASASVI Scholarship?
Students need to know about the eligibility criteria before applying in NSP portal.
- Student must have Residential proof.
- Student those who are from government school they can apply pre-matric scholarship.
- The academic institution must have AISHE or UDISE code.
- Those who are belongs to OBC, EBC, DNT only can apply this scholarship.
- Have to provide student income certificate.
- Student’s institute must be under a recognized university or board for applying this scholarship.
- Students family income must be below Rs 2.5 lakh annually.
- Must have Aadhaar based attendance facility in the student’s institute.
- Student can’t apply or hold multiple scholarship.
PM YASASVI Scholarship Registration
There are some processes for PM YASASVI scholarship registration through which you have to complete the registration. The process is mentioned here.
- Visit the NSP portal scholarship.gov.in
- Navigate to New Registration through Applicant corner.
- Select continue and also select aadhaar.
- Verify the OTP based Aadhaar authentication.
- Now also need to check your CIDR data.
- Now you have to select your scholarship type, residential proof, category of student, email id ,etc.
- Click on the register option now.
- Now you will get your NSP scholarship portal registration number and Your password will send on your registered mobile number.
How to Apply Online For PM YASASVI Scholarship?

- Visit NSP Portal scholarship.gov.in
- Now student has to select the fresh application.
- Then student can able to login with his/her application id and password.
- Submit your basic details (your name, parent’s name, category, annual income).
- Now submit your academic details.
- Also provide your class 10th and 12th academic details because it’s mandetory.
- Then click on save and continue.
- Mention your contact details like mobile number email id etc.
- After that you will able to see the scheme details.
- There after upload all the required documents.
- Finally you can submit your application and take one print out of your application form.
