Orunodoi 2.0 Scheme is an initiative by the Government of Assam known as the Property Alleviation Monetary Benefit Scheme. Women residing in Assam between the age of 18 to 59 years can avail the benefits of this scheme. In fact, the main objective of this scheme is to empower the household women. Eligible household women of this scheme will get a monthly allowance of Rs.830 to Rs.1000.

Orunodoi 2.0 Scheme is actually a financial assistance scheme. The popularity of this scheme is so high that more than 19 lakh beneficiaries in 35 districts of Assam state are already taking the benefits of this scheme. Among these benefits, the expenses covered are medicine, essentials goods, fruits, vegetables, and sugar. To avail the benefit of this scheme, interested applicant have to collect and submit their application to GP or ULB. First we have to collect the orunodoi 2.0 Scheme form from the Gram Panchayat (GP) or Urban Local Body (ULB) office and fill up the form and submit it again to the Gram Panchayat GP or ULB office. After that the submitted application will be verified by the GP, VCDC or ULB level. The primary list is also prepared by GP or ULB but the final list is prepared by District level monotoring committee (DLMC).

Orunodoi 2.0 assam.gov.in Eligibility

Arunodaya Scheme has some eligibility criteria which must be checked before applying. For example,

  • Only Permanent Citizens of Assam can participate in this scheme.
  • Only female applicants from a household can apply.
  • Applicant age must be between 18 to 59 years.
  • Applicant from low income families can take advantage of this scheme.
  • In terms of priority, unmarried, widow, separated or disabled women will get priority in getting this scheme.
  • If anyone has land up to 1.5 Katha in Kamrup Metro Area then they can apply.
  • If the applicant or his family owns 3 kathas of land in small towns, they can also apply.
  • Families living in Kutcha houses belonging to rural areas can also apply.
  • Those who have land up to 15 bighas in rural areas can also apply for this scheme.

How to Apply For Orunodoi Scheme?

The arunodoi scheme application process is now offline. So check the process that how can you apply for this scheme through offline mode.

  1. Get the Arunodoi Application Form

    First you have to collect the application form from your Gram Panchayet (GP) or Urban Local Body Office.

  2. Enter Basic Information

    Now provide your basic details such as select from where you belong Urban/Rural, your district, Date of application etc

  3. Provide Applicant details

    In this applicant details part of your application, you have to provide your block/ULB name, GP/Town name, Village name/ward no, Locality, applicant’s name, Gender, age, house no, police station, Pin code etc

  4. Enter Family Details

    In this column of your application form, you have to provide family member’s name, age, gender, relationship status, priority status etc

  5. Fill Bank Details

    Here you have to provide your bank information where you want to get the financial assistance. So you have to fill your bank A/C number, IFSC code, bank name, branch name, annual family income etc.

  6. Attatch Required Documents

    Now attatch all the required documents copty like bank passbooks front page’s, income certificate, aadhaar card, residential certificate, Priority supporting documents etc

  7. Check the Declaration

    Now check the declaration and read. after that the applicant have to do a sign on the form.

  8. Submit and Collect Receipt

    Finally you have to submit the application form to your Gram Panchayet or Urban Local Body office. They will also verify your original documents and give you an acknowledge receipt.

Orunodoi 2.0 Beneficiary Status Check and District Wise List

In order to check the beneficiary status of Orunodoi 2.0 Scheme and the district wise list, the applicant should speak to the Concern Authority of the nearest Village Panchayat (GP) if residing in a rural area or Urban Local Body if residing in an urban area. In this case the applicant should carry the Acknowledgment Receipt. An applicant can check his application status and district wise list only through that acknowledgment receipt’s application number.

  • Show your acknowledgement receipt
  • Verify your name in the list through application number
