Eligibility for APPSC Lecturer 2024

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for APPSC Lecturer 2024. Candidates have to fulfill both educational qualification and age criteria. which is as follows:

Educational Qualification

  • 1st class bachelor’s degree in the relevant engineering or technology field.
  • Must hold a Bachelor of Science in Textile Technology with Honours.
  • First-class Master’s degree in Home Science from any Indian university accredited by UGC/AICTE, with a focus on apparel and textiles
  • 1st class postgraduate degree in the relevant field.
  • Must hold a Master of Commerce degree with honours.
  • Typewriting in Shorthand and English at the Higher Grades English proficiency tests administered by the State Board of Technical Education and Training
  • First-class Bachelor of Pharmacy degree

Note: In addition to the above qualification, the applicant must have NET or SET certificate.

Age Criteria

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 40 to be considered. Additionally, age relaxation would be granted to reserved category candidates in accordance with Andhra Pradesh Government norms.

Application Fees

The application processing cost is Rs. 250 (Rupees two hundred and fifty only), and the examination fee is Rs. 120 (Rupees one hundred twenty only).

However, applicants who fall under the SC, ST, BC, PBD, or Ex-Servicemen categories are excused from paying the examination fee, which is merely Rs. 120.

Steps to Apply for APPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2024

Step I:

The candidate who wishes to apply for the position must log in to the Commission website using their registered OTPR number (One Time Profile Registration). Candidates who are applying for notifications for the first time must first properly fill out the OTPR application in order to receive an OTPR ID. The applicant must make sure all the details are entered accurately when completing the OTPR. If any errors are made by the candidates, the Commission is not liable for them. If applicants would like to make changes, they can click the “modify OTPR.” Once the changes are made, save them and move on to Step 2.

Step II:

The applicant must use their User Name (OTPR ID) and the password they have created to log in to the official website. Following their login, applicants must select the “Online Application Submission” link located in the lower right corner of the Homepage. The next step for the applicant is to click the Fill Application button next to the notification number they wish to apply for.

STEP-III:

The applicant must fill out application-specific information, such as local/non-local status, white card details, etc., after verifying that all the data is accurate and confirming it again. This information is also used to determine the application fee. In order to update any details, the applicant should utilize the edit OTPR link, make the necessary changes, save it, and then click on online application submission once again.

STEP IV:

After carefully filling out all the information, including the exam centre, post preferences, and qualification credentials, submit the application using the Save & Submit option. The payment link will be produced whenever the applicant clicks the Save & Submit button.

Step V:

Next, upload the necessary documents such as photograph, signature, mark sheet, etc. Pay the application fee accordingly. Check the information you put in the application form twice before clicking the submit button.

Note: Once the application is successfully filed, edits can be made within seven days of the application deadline. This window of time will only be available after the application deadline. You may make the necessary changes right on the application form. It is not possible to make changes to fields that impact the name, cost, and age relaxations.

Selection Criteria

Prior to being selected for this recruitment, candidates must take the written test. Computer-Based Testing (CBT) will be the method of administering the written test. A written test will be administered in April or May of 2024. Candidates will be invited to the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) based on the merit list generated from the written test. Candidates should be aware that passing the CPT is a requirement for appointment.
